Mia is now 6 months. I cant even believe it she is getting so big. She is 15 pounds now. We took her to the doctor last week and she got her 6 month shots, it was not fun. She was pretty brave she hardly cried at all but once we got home she got pretty fussy. She also got a fever which was her first time ever so it was kind of scary. Everything went well at the doctors except the doctor thinks Mia might have a thyroid problem. Thyroid problems are very common in kids with down syndrome. Mia's soft spots on her head are still pretty big which can be caused by her thyroid being off. So only a couple of days after getting her shots I had to take her back to the doctors and have her blood taken. It was so sad at 6 months they have to take the blood from the arm so they had to try a couple of times to get the vein. Her arms are so chubby it was hard for them to find the vein. So hopefully nothing is wrong with it we wont find out for a few days but the doctor said it was pretty easy to fix.

I can't believe she is 6 months old already. She is soo cute. Keep us posted on how the test results turn out. Poor little girl, shots are a bummer.
